Theresa Villiers decision to accept unionist calls for an inquiry into the loyalist 12th of July parade comes as no surprise, as we have seen over the past few month’s unionist threats deliberately to raise tensions.
Calls for mass protests, threats not to take part in any talks all designed to pressure Villiers into making this decision, it will be interesting to see what unfolds over the coming weeks hopefully Ardoyne residents don’t have to put up with a triumphalist march forced past their homes.
