MEMBERS TO APPEAR IN COURT.

Next Monday, 23rd November, members of Belfast's 32 County Sovereignty Movement are due to appear in court on charges relating to a peaceful protest at a public meeting in Ligoniel community centre earlier this year.
The protest was called to show our opposition to a public meeting being held in the north Belfast community centre by the RUC as an attempt for them to gain a platform within the area and was facilitated by Sinn Fein.
We made our position clear that we did not ac...cept the farce taking place and that the PSNI are one in the same as the RUC and are accountable in our eyes to no one person or body, no matter what lies they try to imply about the police ombudsman.
As a result of this, members of our cumann were singled out and given summons' to appear in court charged with public order offences.
We see this as an attempt to silence our campaign against British political policing in Ireland, we can state now that it has done nothing but add to our commitment and determination to carry on highlighting the injustices forced upon Republican communities by a British police force spear headed by MI5.

Reject British political policing in Ireland.
